Not sure if anyone pointed this out and I'm not sure how long this has been going on, but domains at Yahoo are only $4.98, offer ends on March 16th.

Looks like its one per customer per account at that price according to the site, anyway still a good offer. Whats Yahoo like as a registrar? Seem to recall reading somewhere there were a few problems earlier on, or was it a lack of services, not sure now. Somebody out there will know.

There's always 1and1.com that offers $5.99 registrations as well.

I don't see the benefit, if it's limited to one per customer. Sure, you may save $2-$3, but that's not worth it to me, I'd rather have quality service. Those $2-$3 per domain though, DO add up when registering bulk amounts however.

I got a few domains with yahoo. They are resellers for Melbourne IT. From my personal experience I would stay away from yahoo.

few reasons
-poor customer service, infact they do not even care to read your mails
-domain locking not possible
-no push facility
-transfer suspect? (havent tried as yet)

To my knowledge 1and1 charges certain fees to push a domain right?
I guess I'll better stick with RegFly / Godaddy :P

Yes, 1and1 does charge $5.99 whether you push to another member or transfer out. Once you pay that price, those domains are pretty much stuck there unless you find an end buyer that will pay for the transfer (or it's included). Also 1and1 requires that you have at least one domain with them to be a member. So you can't just join and be pushed a domain.
