I searched out all the threads and there isn't an officially designated .xyz thread so how about this one to cover the subject?

So to start off my first xyz reg is:

May have little value if any but I like short domains as possible that I can get in new extensions and with majority of numbers taken I figured why not for the low reg fee right now. Plus it sorry of rhymes.

I saw that if you register LN or NL you pay $220 instead of $2750 for LL or NN. I think there will be value in LN or NL as well in time.

Hi everybody

I was curious to find out if anyone has had any success with this extension? (XYZ)
I've seen only but a few 1w .xyz's sell here and there, haven't seen many in google at all when searching for sites in various niches. Do people not like them much or is its time still on the horizon to become a competing dot to own? I'm not specifically thinking of investors or domainers to sell to, but end users looking for something unique, especially in a crowded niche where most coms, nets, io's, co's, etc. are gone already.

Yes yes, this newbie owns one too, that's why I'm asking, but it was $0.99 to pick up, so i figured I'd let it sit back and see what happens in the future.

I thank you in advance for any insights on this!

I notice that Namecheap have started registering .xyz again, so that is nice. They are offering $0.99 for year 1 and a regular rate of $10.88. I realize many other companies registering at that rate, but for those who have many extensions at Namecheap nice to not need to do .xyz somewhere else.
