.tv "xxxxxGuide" Names

On the TV forum we have talked about different types of names like xxxxxChannel, xxxxxStation, TV.com, TV.tv names. Was wondering what people's opinions are on xxxxxGuide.tv names. I've noticed some of those type of names already regged.

Personally, I think it could be another good suffix to add after a keyword. Searching the sales of "guide" names in all extentions there are quite a lot of sales but not many in .tv which is understandable as there is still a number of them available.

The biggest one in .tv was "TravelGuide" which sold for $3,500 over a year ago.

I've gone ahead & regged some, all in the .tv extention:

Did not work for [email protected] he owned most guide.tv. Dropped them all. They are ok IMO but then again you can substitute any word you like.

That's me personally. A year almost in .tv and I surly did some dumb things but If I can't grab a generic name.tv I will grab keywordtv.tv

Last year the hype was channel terms. My tone changed on that a lot. I will keep my forexchannels.tv, freepornchannel.tv though.

Sorry sound to negative but just don't care for guide. Also don't care for keyword television.com or .tv format.

Took me a year of mistakes.

Just my 2 cents.

That's a nice one Yes, some are very good, Travel,TV,Shopping,Real Estate,Buyers,Apartment. Again IMO

I would have to agree that there are names that fit the xxxxxGuide.tv well like the above mentioned by you guys & there are ones that aren't anywhere near as good. It would really come down to picking the top notch keywords which does suit with the "guide.tv" part.

Anyway, I'll keep the above names as I quite like BoatGuide, HouseGuide & ForexGuide

Ok. I will admit, one guide name I love and that's the one.

I am known as the forex .tv investor by my friends lol so that explains why I like that one.

I missed that name. Perks of blackberry at times.

What makes you think that keywordtv.tv names are any good?
Do you have any concrete reasons why you would prefer those over keywordtv.com ?

Personally I like keywordTelevision.com and keywordTv.com although I currently don't own any.
No matter what but .com is the most popular extension and a repeating tv in a "keywordtv.tv" is just ugly imo.

I will probably stick to .com and only if there is a good premium tv for sale I might buy it
Found a good keywordtelevision and xxxguide.tv thou.. still trying to figure out if it's really worth it so it would be interesting to get a list of .tv sales, are there any around?

sorry i missed a word...i dont care for keyword television.com...dont like it...

i just dont like the guide term.. just my thoughts, am i wrong, sure i can be...the great things in domaining, its like a big maze...you win some, you loose some, you change your thoughts, you learn from things and etc...i surly have done dumb things in grabbing names...i admit that...some people are afraid of there mistakes, or regret names...

is this concept going fail with the guide names? only time will tell and trial and error...
