From an appraisers standpoint, I highly doubt that they would name the next version the 720. Just seems a little too "cliche" and pretty tacky. The only reason they called this version the 360 is because the design and technology did a complete "360."

Notice how Microsoft regged Xbox 360.com, .net, and .org. However with the "720", only the .com was regged (seeng how you just got the .net). This is just a little clue that they are probably not naming it that.

I don't read any gaming magazines, or even play videogames much. But I have followed the video gaming industry most recently.

But anyway, your defense for registering a crappy domain name is to say that you're no nerd gamer. :tu: So why are you registering names like these? I mean, it would be at least 4 years before you'd have an inkling of whether or not Xbox 720 were the new console, and you didn't even get the .com.


But don't worry, I'm sure the name will pay for itself through the PPC from all the type-ins that you will receive. :gn:

If you're going to speculate on the next XBOX's name, I'd be more inclined to think of XBOX RS, or some other "cool" two letter combo or based on some amazing feature it will include...XBOX VR or something.

I hope for your sake you'll get to tell me "I told you so" but they will not call it XBOX 720. Reg fee, sorry.
