Next generation of gaming consoles

I saw a thread on Dp where someone asked if he made a good investment buying domains like Xbox720-related domains. I don't know if there is a gaming console like that coming, but how valuable do you think domains like this are?

I thought about buying some domains with ps4 and Playstation4 in them. Or maybe Wii2?

Common misspell Palystation4.com is unregistered.

And what about Playstation 5,6,7,8 etc.?

You're taking a big risk;
Console manufacturers like to come up with new and inventive names, they're never going to name the next xbox the xbox720.

Another problem is, if you do register say playstation7.com you're going to have a mighty big lawsuit to deal with.

It's best to avoid it, if you're determined to, at least wait for announcements on the names, because think about it; sony is a billion dollar company, if they're going to build a PlayStation 6 they would fork out the $10 to register the .com of it, same with microsoft.

Yea I don't know about Xbox720. It was some guy at Dp. But there are rumors about that name.

I was thinking about domains like FreepsX.xom and misspells like palystation4.com
