How good is a wwwlxxxxx.com typo? Do people really type in the "l" instead of the "." ? Let's say I owned wwwlebay.com. Would the domain get a lot of traffic?

I wouldn't get a trademarked name though unless you like throwing money away. :imho:

Alas! [sigh] All of the good typos- even the good keywordcom names- are all long gone. :( That is why I hate them, so.

Yeah not a wise Investment IMO there are some other Good alleys out there you just have to look

There are new domain typos created all the time “mypace” is an extreme example but I’m with you Michael, I’ve never been able to find an extremely strong one, so to heck with them.

I know someone who has generated over $80,000 in revenue a year with Poker domain typos but he started his foray in 1999 with an almost single-minded mentality toward the categories potential. So, I'm not so sure that's true, but what the heck do I know I couldn't select a typo if you spotted me the AHOO.
