I was approach by a gentleman by the name Robert Johansen Ph.D. from Operaen wanting to buy my domain.

But, keep asking me to appraise my domain.He insist I only use his appraiser and the charges were exorbitant.

Appreciate , if you can help to appraise my domain. So, that I can clearly assure him of my domains value.

Don't be sucked in, there are various scams doing the rounds and we nearly fell for it ourselves when we first started out. Sadly they have no intention of buying your domain name, they just want you to spend money with their company. At the end of the day, a domain is worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it.

This is a big e-mail scam. Delete the email. He usually says "I run a software development company. Selling & buying names is not my
main business. Just another way to invest money and make additional
income." I recieved the same email and this person uses many different names. BIG SCAM

Definite definite scam. Was a victim too. Stay well clear and never pay for a domain appraisal. Tell him if he needs it appraising to pay himself, I'll bet he won't though.
Paid domain appraisals are enough of a scam in themselves- don't get caught!
