www goes to ftp??? (Help please)

If I type in www.xxxxxxx.com I get ftp://www.xxxxxxx.com/

but if I type: xxxxxxx.com or http://xxxxxxx.com it works ok.

Does anyone have any ideas why www is not working correctly?


note: xxxxxxx is just an example its not my website

Do you have access to your zone file?
.htaccess?

The problem is with your dns record. If you post the domain name we could do a lookup and point you in the right direction.
