I can only find megavideo on a google search but their licenses only run for 1 year.

thanks, but this means there are no royalty payments for screeening the tv shows onsite, think this may be dodge....? unless there is permission from the tv show owners..?

What you mean?
All the sites don't have permission, but the videos don't hosted at your server, they hosted at Megavideo.com, so if megavideo wants, they will delete the episodes.

sorry maybe i'm stupid?
But my understanding was that megavideo just hosts videos that people have uploaded (ie. megavideo has not paid for any rights), so your site is just streaming a video (in this case a tv episode) that someone has uploaded to the megavideo site. Kind of like file sharing, so i thought there may be copyright infringment issues in the future?
If i'm wrong tell me?

You don't host the videos, you don't give any download link or something, you just embed the videos from megavideo.
I don't think that you'll have problem with it.
