**Edit Please Read**: As I expected almost 90% of DMs did not follow the below criteria and are also following up 3-4 times in the span of a day or two. I will be spending some time reviewing and doing due diligence on names that I like to see how they best fit my investment strategy which takes time. I also will not be replying to most messages, it's not personal. For best results include all info I requested in your original message as the constant follow ups and time spent asking for the additional details I requested in my post is only adding more messages and more time for me to review the hundreds of messages in my inbox.
Hello,
I am opening this thread back up now that I have a sizeable budget again for acquiring more names. This thread will not be for everyone, and that's totally fine if you do not meet this criteria. If that is the case there is no need to participate, but please read the following before DM.
Last time I received hundreds of DMs not following the request, so please read the full rules and explanation before reaching out or you will be ignored.
Purpose of this thread:
This is strictly an opportunity for you to liquidate and get back 50%-90% of what you spent on a domain at GD/Snapnames/Dropcatch/Namejet/gname/etc aftermarket wholesale auctions for quick liquidity. In other words if you don't have the time to wait now for an end-user sale for whatever reason, I am offering a mutually beneficial way for you to get fast cash back.
Why not 100%?
I spend a lot of time/money on aftermarket names - chances are somewhat decent that if I really wanted this specific name at 100% I probably would have been bidding on it or someone else would have continued bidding it higher than what you paid for it wholesale. Under very rare and specific circumstances, like you got an amazing deal from a private wholesale deal 10 years ago and the domain market has appreciated since then, I will pay more, but you will know beforehand if you have this type of name to offer. For aged/premium handregs you can use reg fee + renewals to determine cost.
Names I DO want:
What I DO NOT want and will ignore:
Preferred Submission Format: (Does not have to be exact, but should include as much of the info as possible)
Examples:
Cheers and I will attempt to keep this thread up and running long-term if everyone follows the proper format and my inbox doesn't explode with nonsense
FAQ:
Q: Only auction names ? Can it be one word domains that we hand registered years back or bought from a domain owner here on namePros or anywhere else but not in auctions ?
A: Yes. I will consider any premium domains at discount that match my other criteria, but the purpose of the thread is to help people get some of their $ back if they find themselves in a situation where they need quick liquidity and can no longer afford to wait for an end-user sale on a premium domain. For handregs, if you want to add up X years of renewal and call that your cost that's fine, but it needs to meet the other criteria. The other reason I refer to auction is because if a name went for xxx-xxxx at auction there is obviously interest in the domain which weeds out low quality names most of the time.
Q: Make offer/Give me your best offer
A: No. This is outlined above - give me your ask and I will accept, counter, or not respond depending on names in DM
Q: Can I submit TLD's besides the ones you listed?
A: Yes. I will consider short and one word English domains in just about any extension that are not the ones I listed above, but purchasing them is another story. I will absolutely consider .vc, .io, .xyz in single word that aren't high xxx/xxxx renewal from the registry. This does not mean I will buy them though, but I will look at them and maybe find a gem I like.

Names I DO want:
- .com (prefer 2 words max, 4-14 letters, pronounceable)
- .ai (Only pronounceable/short/one word/slight one word variation (-ly,-r,-y etc)
- 1 word for any other TLD
What I DO NOT want and will ignore:
- .net / .us / .me / .info / .ca / anything with a premium renewal fee
- Plurals that are misplaced (ie, BrandHubs.com / BrandsShop.com / Insurances.com)
- Past Tense
- non-pronounceable 4L with random letters
- Make offers
- Any of your retail priced names
Preferred Submission Format: (Does not have to be exact, but should include as much of the info as possible)
Domain
Price you paid at auction
Where you acquired (optional but highly preferred)
Date acquired (Rough estimate is fine, but details preferred)
Asking Price
Examples:
MyDomain.com
GoDaddy Auction May 2024
Paid $295 will take $250
fixly.ai, I paid $370 at namecheap auction in March but need money and will take $300
Keyword.io - I paid $1800 wholesale last year in a private deal but really need cash so I'd like to get at least $1500 back
keywordkeyword.com
Picked up for $50 at GD closeouts recently, will do $30
I will try to reply to you, but if you don't hear anything back please do not continue to follow up incessantly. I likely saw your name and either am not interested or your price was too high etc. Every single time I do one of these, people give a price then follow up 4 times dropping it every other day. For best results, give me your best and final offer from the start. The amount of replies I get on these posts is just too much to respond to every single person, especially those that don't follow instructions, so please do not take it personal.Cheers and I will attempt to keep this thread up and running long-term if everyone follows the proper format and my inbox doesn't explode with nonsense
