Hi everyone,
I'm getting ready for a big domain sale... UniversityPokerTour.com. I know it's not much of a name and normally I'd be selling it for peanuts since it's so long... but I was lucky enough to have two end-users email me about the name on the same day. So I got one of them to agree to put in an initial $2k bid at sedo and I'm pushing it to auction. My dream is that I can get two of the 800 lb gorillas interested in the poker market to start a bidding war and payoff my mortgage.
In the past, I've had good success with pulling emails from whois data for all domains with certain keywords. But my method for doing so is very time consuming. I want to buy two email lists... first a list for the whois contacts for every domain owner who owns a domain (preferably not just .com) with the keywords "poker", "tour", or "university" contained inside. Second i want to get an email list for marketing contacts in all of the big fortune 500 companies. Finally, if you have experience in sending out mass-emails, that would help too.
I'm not sure what kind of price would be appropriate for your help in connecting the domain name with the perfect end-user. If you have experience in building email lists from whois records, please let me know and we'll work something out.
