Hey friends,

I launched a site just 20 or 30 days ago and now I am on first position on MSN for the keyword "download sharewares" the site that I am talking about it http://www.hotappz.com

Its rankings in Yahoo and google are also improving.

I just wanted to say this bcoz I cannot keep this to me. I was so excited that I had to start this thread to rant about it :D

I have got some new techniques to get top rankings in MSN and Yahoo. Google is a totally different game. But then also MSN and Yahoo traffic is not bad. :D as it is free :D

Means I don't believe in link exchange and I have not a single out bound link from my site. All links I got are from other sites linking into me. And that also for free.

But, you have a huge collection of sharewares. MSN always loves products rather than just information/articles whereas the big G loves conents/articles/info.

It's not hard getting good results for obscure keywords/phrases.

I would never type in "download sharewares"... I would type in "download shareware" - as would most of the world.

As I had suspected - you aren't listed at all on the first couple of pages for the non-plural, more popular phrase.

I'm not trying to rain on your parade (kudos on the plural)... but before you call yourself the SEO dictator... you might want to get a top rank on a keyphrase that has more than 23k results.

Well man That's why I Am SEO Dicatator. And you are not. Bcoz I target the less competing keywords to start off my site. I cannot compete with bigger sites with a 20 days old site of mine. :D

You know, since you call these your proven techniques, why did you start the thread acting so surprised that it worked? If you ask me, you havnt done Jack Schitt and just happened to notice that you ranked high on MSN for a term most normal people would never think of searching for.

Thats right. No one is targeting the term download sharewares because no one searches that term. I hope it didnt take 20-30 days to get top positions for a keyword with a meer 23K results.

I was just showing others who will be very happy to rank at #1 for mere 23K results.

Bcoz I have no intent on earning through SEO or no intent to let my friends pay for SEO.

Well the script is custom coded by me. It took me 28 days to code it and 3 years to get that 28 days free in my schedule. :D

I was selling that script sometime ago. But no one responded so I closed the thread. :D

Its not that easy to get good ranks in google.

because google has page rank.... of course unless your search term generates pages with zero rank, then it is possible that ur page is #1....

Trust me, a script isn't all you're going to need to get good SE results. Quality code will enable search engines to see the core of your content for what it is supposed to be.\

Rather than worry about a script, write your own quality code, and do it right. Learn what does and does not have relevance and you'll start to see results.
