I'm wondering if I could get a few of you to tell me what type of two-word hyphened .coms you would pay more than $100 for?

Like weight-loss.com or ???

Thx,
ez

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
GoDaddyGoDaddy
The ones with high search volume and taken in other extensions, I'd easily spend 100$ on a name like out-source or kama-sutra even :tu:

When dealing with end users I have found they are more open to one well placed hyphen than domainers are. There are some terms I would pay $X,XXX for.

If a term has high search volume, then it has huge advantage SEO wise also.

Thanks to both or you for your responses. Rep given.
What would you consider 'high' search volume in this case? Thx again.

Weight-loss.com is in the 5-figure range easily.

I think anything above 10k searches a month would be sufficient. For 100$ I'd try and find the bargain, something catchy with higher than 25k search volume would be a nice grab, good luck :)

Thanks to all again.

As for what I've quoted above... for that 10k searches a month... are you talking Google's Adwords tool... and do you mean broad, phrase or exact search?

Sorry for the additional questions. Rep given.

Thanks,
ez

yes G adwords tool, although I've never ran adwords I guess I've been using broad by default, I did not even notice the pulldown match type menu there :cy: Thanks for pointing that out, reps back at ya :D
