Would anyone be intersted in this script?

Ive created my first php script which allows script creators (or other things which have domain licenses) to allow guests to see if a domain is running a valid license.

The reason im asking is because if a script owner made a script, would they want to download a simple free script? If alot of people would be intersted in the script, i will register a domain, but dont want to register it for one or two people who want to use it.

Anyways the script would be free (with $5 copyright removal) and ill have some kind of a site up in a day or 2 (either on its own domain or shared with future scripts i make).

I'm not too certain if I understand how this works, so would you mind elaborating? Would the developers of each script in this database be obliged to add a snippet to their coding that would authenticate validity?

the script will allow guests to enter a domain (www.domain.com) and if that domain purchased a copy of the script (has a license to use the script on that domain) it shows 'www.domain.com has a valid license'. If the domain entered did not have a license for the domain (ie warez) it would say 'www.domain.com has an invalid license. Please contact us at [email protected] to report.


Right now you need to add new domains via phpmyadmin, but im working on the next version which will have an admin panel for it (and maybe ill try and make a report button so when someone finds an unlicensed domain, the message is sent to the an inbox in the admin panel)

Id use one but then again thats just my opinion but I like the idea of it, I give it a thumbs up.

just a note, that ill be updating and eventually want to create a client section which will allow the client to purchase new licenses for multiple scripts and allow them to request a license transfer (to another client or to another person)

It seems like a simple thing that some would use when they are developing their script. I guess it would depend on if it were a class that could just be called from the existing script.
