.nz is a ccTLD. .geek.nz is a 2LD. school.nz is the longest 2LD in the .nz ccTLD. The maximum legth of a .nz name is, in theory 255, characters, but each element is limited to 63, so 63+.school.nz.

There are a number of other 2LDs that are much longer than that even. My personal favourtie is .fylkesbibl.no. Adding a whopping 14 characters to the end of a name it's the longest one I'm aware of. In fact it's longer than many of my names with extention.

For those wondering fylkesbibl means “freaking long” on Norwegian No, really, I have no idea what it means.
