The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

wordpress is easy to use and yes you can put up adsense.

You might want to start with blogger.com to get used to blogging before you set up your own.

There are a few others ... I love worpress so I never used any other ....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WordPress

There is the wiki for wordpress

Yes anyone can use the system. Its prolly one of the easiest CMS around. Very user friendly and comes with instructions on everything. WordPress is used for blog and other sites. You can pretty much make anything out of WordPress.

Also look in to Joomala.

movabletype is another blogging cms, and you can always use more "complete" ones like joomla or drupal.

wordpress is relatively easy to use and learn if you have some basic background on how everything works. do you currently already have any blogs or websites?

thank you all for all you help! no i dont currently have a blog! i own like 50 domains, one i had in mind to build a blog is easyinvesting.info because of the current up and downs of economy. thank you

Wordpress yes..

If you already have the domains (easyinvesting is nice) you can get some affordable from the Namepros forums, make sure the hosting has unlimited add on domains (or at least 10 domains) and it has fanatisco which has an auto install of Wordpress.

Then you can start learning and experimenting and learning. Getting traffic is the next step once you have the blog set up.

Does your host have Fantastico? You may want to try that for an automated installation.

If installing manually, you'll have to set up and configure databases as well as uploading the files...which is probably what you're stuck on.

I dont really get the point of wordpress, if you can put a page together on your website whats the advantage of using wordpress. Plus why host it on you site when you can create an account on wordpress.com and use their hosting?

you have more control over a paid service, it's much more professional, and wordpress.com has the right to randomly put ads on your blog without warning.

wordpress flaunts the other benefits of a cms in its ease in managing content.

i'm not sure what you're talking about, but flaunts = exhibits/shows.

so, "wordpress exhibits/shows the other benefits of a cms in its ease in managing content."

Yes you can AdSense to WordPress and to be honest, WordPress is the most customizable, easy to use for starters. You can master it really quick unlike other CMS. Adding AdSense into WordPress blog is like editing a simple template file.
