Adding Wordpress on GoDaddy?

How difficult is it to add Wordpress to Godaddy? Does anyone have any experience with this?

It's very easy to do. It takes just a couple minutes to set up the default Wordpress.

It's simple to install WP if GoDaddy has Fantastico or Installatron.

As long as you purchased hosting with them it is pretty much just a couple of clicks away. Here is a link form their support forum that goes into detail the steps to install.

Be aware at their site they offer "wordpress hosting" also but you do not need to purchase that hosting in order to use wordpress. Any regular hosting plan will be suffice and provide the installation application.

If you go under content>godaddy hosting connections you will find the wordpress install button.

Pick a domain in your account.

You set up a DB name, description and password (You won't need to remember these, they will be in your config file later if you need them).

Choose a install directory (delete the /wordpress and leave it blank if you want it to be in the root (main site)).

Pick your login/password for the admin panel.

Click finish.

Whalllaaaaa! 1 hour later you have wordpress
