Wordpress Newsletter

Hey guys,

I'm making a WordPress blog, and one of the things I plan on adding is a newsletter. There seems to be a lot of different plugins, and everyone claims a different one to be the best.

Basically all I need is the ability to have a sidebar widget to subscribe, and send out a text-only newsletter to the subscribers.

Does anyone here know of the best for something this simple?

hi,

I use the "Add to Any: Subscribe Button" plugin. In your wordpress widget section you just drag the plugin to your sitebar. You can adjust the size, title of the widget in the settings section.
Your readers get a lot of choice to subscribe; email, rss, rss readers like google reader etc.

I'm still building my blog so I don't know if this is the best for me but it looks good so far.
