It's just like raising the FDIC cap, a thing which both of our potential future presidents support. You don't get money back, the tax payer is robbed with this program. You pay the taxes that fund it. So, when you get money from the FDIC, it's money you paid in. In the end, yes you get the bank money, but it's your tax money that you're getting "back."
