I own wirelesscasino.com and have been getting offers for the past 4 years. I paid $7500 for it.

I don't know whether to hold on a little while longer, sell it now, lease it for a percentage. Gooogle it and check how a bunch of big firms have already coined the term for there ware.

Can somebody please help me with there expertise in this area as I believe I made a good investment.

Best Regards,

David

Well, first of all, the opinions in this area are all personal opinions, keep that in mind.

Let's look at the results now.

- wirelesscasino no OVT results, hardly any Google results (only 802)
- wireless is a good keyword, 31243 OVT w/o results and 239.000.000 Google results.
- casino, well we all know thats a good keyword.
- wireless casino has only 37 OVT w/o results and 5.360.000 Google results.

My conclusion : wirelesscasino is not a populair keyword for consumers.

If I read this -> http://www.spin3.com/wireless_market.php , the first thing that comes in my mind is, the best extension would be .mobi.

But, wirelesscasino.com would fit an enduser which produces this 'technology' perfect.
Maybe a big casinocompany can use it for a 'wireless casino gamble site'.

You paid $ 7500, that's a lot. There isn't even a parking page or website on it now, that's a shame.
The first thing you should do is put something online! Measure the traffic! Do some SEO and get nice results in Google.

You'll have to get an apprasial of SEDO or something. Maybe put a broker on it.

About the price to sell, I dont know...

You made a good buy. Wireless technology has been slow to show in casinos because of compliance and security issues...real and perceived. However, there is some movement now, with wireless used in the service end (floor orders, drinks, food, etc.) and in gaming technology, especially bonusing and such. There are also some new companies getting started that are all about wireless in the gaming industry (casino gaming).

If they haven't already contacted you, get in touch with IGT in Vegas; they're the largest slot machine producers, and would be ideal candidates. There are a couple more manufaturers, too, like Bally and Sigma...and others. If you contact them, and they want to talk it over, have your price ready...don't be wishy-washy. The same with any casinos (Station Casinos would be a good choice, as would the newer casinos with younger, tech-savvy execs)...be short and to the point...they'll be the same, but make sure you're talking to the right guys in the food chain.

Sure wish I had your domain...I'd be down there making the rounds. It wouldn't take much to get some good offers...but be ready to make the deal. I've seen some big deals go bust because someone tried to change terms and/or prices after "thinking" it over. You may be slightly ahead of the curve there with all-out wireless, but I'n not sure...haven't kept in touch in the last few years.

Your domain is worth a lot, but maybe more in a year or two Contact Moniker and see if there's any way to get it into the CAC auction...high reserve. If not, make it known that it's on the block. e-mail all the gaming marketing groups (casinos, manufacturers, large vendors, etc.). Make the e-mail personal and to the point about how it will benefit their bottom line...you'll be glad you did.
