Windows Media Edition issue..

Not sure where exactly to put this so figured I throw it in neutral territory. Anyhow this version of windows came with my Acer Aspire 5100 and the fans have been running hot non stop for no apparent reason. The computer is running an AMD Turion x64 x2 and I was curious if anyone else had this same issue? They run high even when I am doing very little which amazingly heats up the left side of the laptop very quickly.

I've got an MCE computer with one of the first intel dual cores came out, fans are always running.... I haven't been able to fix it... maybe the same thing, maybe completely unrelated
