Will you show up on a search engine with just parking??

I was looking on NameDrive and they offer stats etc etc on your parked domains.

But other than type in traffic, how else are you going to get hits?

I presume I am correct in saying that if you park your domains with NameDrive, Sedo etc you are not going to show up on any search engines based on keywords etc - for this you surely need hosting and at least a mini website?

You are correct. Parking is only successful for domains that have significant type-in traffic or backlinks.
