Can I just delete .info's and then pick them up again at .99 cents? I checked this out with a .com and as soon as I deleted the domain (got a refund on the fifth day of ownership if that's relevant) I noticed out of curiosity to see that it was immediately available for reg again.
Is it this easy after you've had the domain for nearly a year with all TLD's? Are there any risks of losing the domain?

Thanks

If the domain has traffic it could easily be snapped up by a squatter, or even your registrar. Don't risk it!

The instant delete only works in the first 5 days for some TLDs...

I'm not totally up on .info domains, but presumably, if the .info domain is up for renewal, it will not immediately drop, but rather will go into a delete cycle much like .com domains do that lasts awhile - plenty of time for speculators to research and potentially grab the domain using automated tools before you can.

In short, basically as squid said, if the domain is anything even remotely decent, don't risk it.

very risky as it might be picked up by domain snappers, and if you have seen it readily available no one can be stopped to register it and claim as their own.
