There has been discussions all over the domaining community regarding the fate of 4L .com domain names after the Chinese New Year.

What do you think will happen - Will we see an uptrend or downtrend?

Is it the time to buy or sell??
It would be great if you could support our answer with an explanation.

Your views would be helpful to all those willing to invest at this point!

Here is what Morgan Linton has to say:

"I don’t think there’s a bubble, I do think that short .COMs are becoming more than brandable domains, I think they are turning into a real asset class. The focus used to be completely on keyword domains but now the concept of a Chinese premium (no vowels, and no v) shed light on a new way investors to the East were valuing domains.

I think 4L .COMs will be more valuable a year from now than they are today."

From recent numbers, all 4L are going up lately, chips and random.

Yup since the end of the Chinese New Year I've noticed a rise in 4L chips.

Even some of the Chinese contacting me for my Western premium 4L's.

Looking at the floor price, it's still steady at $300+, maybe $350 floor price for The lowest quality LLLL.com in March? Who knows....

Floor of $500 by end 2016 is my expectation. Could be even higher. $600 for Dual triple premiums (3 Chinese and 3 Western Premiums), $1000+ for Western Prems, $2500 for Chinese Prems.
