Hi, can anyone share with me how to get info from the wikipedia site on to one of my own sites? is it fed or just a mere cut n paste job?

I've seen many sites that have taken info (probably word for word) from wikipedia with a little citation at the bottom of the page stating "content modified from wikipedia"...im not sure if thats legal, and it definitely won't work well for gaining a high search engine spot...i would email wikipedia and ask their permission...since i believe they gather all the info themselves, you could probably get the permission directly from them, but you're still better off writing in some original content for the purpose of your site...hope this helps
