Why Google does this?

Have you noticed your site removed from search results, when you have an active Adwords campaign?

My site has PR2 and i am advertizing using adwords. When my ads are being served, my site is not in the search results. It shows up when the Ad is not shown... Is it their policy?

Has anyone experienced it before?

it is quite unusual.. my site was removed in search results for about 1 week and now it is back with 3 positions ahead. maybe google removes the site for some other reason

i thought of the same. But i tried it atleast 10 times. and it behaves the same way.
