Why are the wii's going to "BestFour.com"

why are the wii's going to "BestFour.com" Am I being SCAMED????

Hello,

I reg'd a few Nintendo Wii names yesterday and parked them on Sedo.com

My names are

niiwii.com
niwii.com
and
nintwiindo.com

When I type in the URL it takes me to "BestFour.com" what the Heck!!

I also tried some nintendo DNs that are not mine and they go there too.

nintendowii.com
nintendo-wii.com

What's going on????? Check your wii's please are you haveing the same issue?

Sorry to say this, but it must be you.
The first 3 domains you put, gave me a 404.
nintendowii.com redirects me to nintendo.com and so does nintendo-wii.com...

I'm at work now and thought pehaps it's my computer so I used 3 other comp's and they all go to the same site.. BestFour.com????

So do the others nintendowii.com and nintendo-wii.com, they go to bestfour.com on my comp??

Here is the URL (minus the http) I get sent to when I type nintwiindo.com : ://bestfour.com/?aff_id=Tester&keyword=phentermine

I reg'ed these three with 4 other non-nintendo names last night. The 4 others are all fine and go to my parked Sedo page, these 3 however are being Hijacked or something!!!!

Yes we have Firewall, etc. here at my work but for some reason I can still see my other URL's parked on Sedo..... Even the one's I reg'd last night along with the "wii's"...

I hope when I get home tonight niiwii.com goes to Sedo...

Ha... I didn't even think about that.... I figured eveybody else would be getting the same page... So does that mean that BestFour.com is a nasty site that makes deals with internet worm makers to get traffic???

Weird that the worm only works on those DNs and none of my other one's..


I really have a DN problem that I'm asking for help with, not trying to increase Sedo clicks, like that even does anything.. Check my history of posts if you want, I'm not a spammer....

OK, I'm at home now..... And instead of going to BestFour.com when I type the DN's I just get this. http:///? www.niiwii.com

Why is this happening. I own nintwiindo, niiwii and niwii.com's. All are doing this...

Even nintendowii.com and nintendo-wii.com do this and I don't own those DNs???

Also my comp. at work and my comp. here never exchange info, e-mails or anything... So ....

How are they infected with the same worm?

How does a worm/virus only effect certain URL's?

Is it possible for my DN's to be infected themselves, although I havn't published anything yet, all I did was reg. and change the servers to park at sedo.com

Is it possible that someone is hijacking wii domain names and sending them there???

Please....... ...computer geeks I know your on this forum.....Help me!!



Finally when you guys try to go there do you see my Sedo listing??? Cause I don't and someone made the comment that I must be getting alot of clicks at Sedo,-----------Funny cause none of these have had any views yet??

Hey I like that answer. Yeh, I just ran 3 virus/adware scan programs and am in the clear.


Stange that those are takeing so long progagate.... I'll let you know if a couple days what's up.

Did you see my Sedo listing or did you just see a blank error page?

Problem solved.

Within an hour of me sending a customer service request to Sedo the DNs were were working, they all three now show my Sedo listing..

Problem solved and case closed.
