Who's buying short .ca's? LLL, L-L, LLLL -Sales and discussion.

So now GD is on the .ca band wagon (although netfirms is cheaper - $9.99) . I believe there are excellent opportunities in .ca land. I have several CVCV's and 1 LLL GGP and 1 L-L H-O. I am in the process of building up my .ca portfolio as well. Lets talk anything 'short' .ca here and lets post sales as well. I see FLT.ca just sold at sibername for $530. Here is a partial scan of available CVCV's and I will post more of the list next week (just leaving for the cabin )

Personally speaking I don't see much value in the cvcv or vcvc types in .ca - not for some time to come anyways.

LLL's either don't sell for much more than $150 on domain forums, but routinely go for 3-5 times that in tbr auctions. So I'd place the value somewhere in the middle for most of them - obviously some are worth much more; typos, awesome acronyms etc. The recent large LLL.ca sale as reported in domainjournal seems to be the exception at this point, but clearly end-users will pay up!

NNN's seem to be selling for about half the usual tbr results for LLL's. A little low maybe, but Canadians don't seem to be huge on number domains.

L-L's - not my cup of tea and don't hold any, and don't foresee myself investing there anytime soon. A bit too speculative for my taste.

There is a good list on DNF of lll sales and .ca sales in general, but I haven't been able to log in there for weeks - it crashes my browser on each page load...

There was lots of pre-drop action for the LLL's in yesterday's tbr. I didn't catch any final numbers, nor am I in any auctions for them so if anyone knows - please list them!

No, I just collect .ca's right now, no selling. Have you had any luck with sibername auctions or noticed any nice sales that way?

I emailed them about their auctions and they replied they stopped running them due to lack of interest.

Just picked up CBG <(.ca)>. Very happy with it as the first letter Is a natural for Canadian/Canada B business etc etc and G-guide etc etc.

ALso I noticed the small amount of premium L-L's that are dropping are being regged immediately as well (interesting).

Also very happy that I grabbed GEGE as it makes its renewal+ in parking.
