Who's Best for Building Affiliate sites?

I wanted to ask here in the 'affiliate talk' thread since some of you guys and gals around here know more about it and might be able to guide me in the right direction.

Is this something I should be doing myself? I have no development skills. I'm not seeing much on it anywhere around the forum, even in the development section but I'll ask there as well.

I'd like to have several built possibly. SEO for the domain name and site is important to me as well as performance and looks.

You can make some pretty nice looking affiliate sites just in Wordpress. Finding the perfect template is the issue.

And if you want to sell stuff thats listed on Ebay their are some very nice plug ins available. I've used PHPbay in the past and I'll be doing some more of that once I have some more free time.

You might check out the Thesis WordPress template from DIYthemes.com. It's not free but a lot of heavy hitters are using it (Matt Cutts, Sugarrae).

I used it for americanglassmuseum.com and silverearrings.org, without any major modifications. (For the sites I build I don't think unique design is nearly as important as getting content published quickly).

I guess dotcombuilder as well as affiliano.com. They also give u 100USD signup bonus and then just keep on referral people. Only the thing is that u need to pay for your hosting account at 4.95 USD per month.

Many affiliates I know use Wordpress. It's free, easy to work with and very flexible.
