Whois search by email address

Is it possible to perform a search on the whois database using the registrants email address? If possible, I owuld like to find out how many domains a particular person has registered with his email address.

I have not found one that exists. While contacting DomainTools (whois.sc) a few months ago, I was informed they are "working" on it.
