Whois info?

Pardon me if this has been asked before, but what can you do about someone picking up a domain that you had, but not ever changing the whois info?

I keep getting emails on an .info domain I had a couple of years ago because whoever now has it still has my info on it.

This is annoying and misleading, plus if they spam from that domain then I will look like the one to blame.

Can someone help me out?

if you report the said domain on http://wdprs.internic.net/ they will send an icann whois update url to the new owner, just specify the new owner.

This seems to be taking a lot of time really. I've had some registrars like Fab respond instantly but others have taken months to really respond.

Its reg'd through godaddy.....
Hopefully they wont take forever.

this happened to me also on one of sold domain and they're asking for link exchange request, i instead reply with another interest, or totally ignore it at some time.

You can email the buyer to change the whois.
