Whois info

In the "Using Google" thread the Whois subject came up. EdwinJ wrote,

"Check the whois for the dot com version to make sure it is expiring. If it says "pending delete", it should be available very soon."

The whois that I was looking at was TuCows. Can anybody give me an expamle of a domain that is about to expire and contains the "pending delete" information. Other examples of the different status periods would be helpful also.

Something that you're not waiting to jump on, for sure.

I was high bidder on Twins.net for about 15 minutes at NW this morning, lol, my $8.75 bid didnt last too long.

That's why the Whois info didn't come up on that one. When I went the the Network Solutions site and brought up the Whois, there was a note about them starting a secondary market. Do you know what this is? Any details? How will this affect what I have set out to do here - make a few extra bucks?
