I lost a GoDaddy Expiring Auction today for a domain which had 1 bidder for the 15day expiring auction at GoDaddy, 5hrs before the end of the auction, I bid $25, and the original bidder countered with an automatic bid of $22, leaving me in the lead at $25. Then Bidder 33258 jumped in with an automatic bid of $350 (it may have been higher, $350 was were their automatic bid won), and then bidder 913932 bid against that automatic bid, apparently manually, all the way up to the $350. Estibot Value $340. Bidding went from $30 to $45, and then $125 to $350, in $5 increments.

Who are these bidders? It takes a lot of patience bidding up from $30 to $350 manually against a bot for over 5hrs. If this was intended to make the automatic bidder pay for the domain. I think they succeeded. It's a dangerous game

But they didn't win this one. 33258 won the auction. However something which worries me about this, is 913932 were not bidding with automatic bids. Every bid was hand bid. So I was surprised they lost the auction. My guess would have been (wrongly) that 33258 would have been HugeDomains. 913932 looks like the manual bidder in this auction.

33258 beat me out of callmanagement today. 913932 got me on several others.

In case anyone is interested, I've noticed bidder 913932 likes to bid 101 for a certain level of domains (good but not great).

So, if there is a name you feel has a value in this range, bid 102 early on an you might trick the bot/android/AI and beat it/them by one dollar.
