Which is better Whitehat SEO or Blackhat SEO? Whitehat SEO playing the game nice or Blackhat SEO which tactics are backdoors, cloaking, and using other tricks to optimize sites.

Blackhat is BS. One day or other it is bound to sink your ship in the middle of the ocean.

So I would rather keep myself happy with less traffic and less revenue but would go with white hat techniques.

Whitehat actually means sitting back and relaxing doing almost nothing while someone else claims your niche. Black hat is not always 'evil' it is just a more aggressive form of marketing that many are uncomfortable with!

LOL No Blackhat means sitting back and doing nothing making the scripts work. Whitehat means working 16 to 18 hours a day. On content, On backlinks etc.

No scripts anymore, that was the old way... Modern blackhat has evolved from simple cloaking. Probably the biggest difference between white and black techniques is $100/day for white and $1000/day for black. The hours worked are about the same, just better results.

And $1000/day is going to last as long as $100/day lasts?

If a black hatter thinks he is the smartest person on this planet then maybe it can last but that is never the case there are always much more smarter people who will catch them and just kick them out. I would take 100/day for 5 years rather then take 1000/day for 5 days.

I am not telling its just a 5 day game. But I am telling that blackhat is blackhat and trying to get something by gaming the system never lasts long. If I had a competitor that was using Blackhat techniques I will surely report him and my work will be lot easier.

By using blackhat all you are doing is fooling a visitor to see useless content rather then the content he really needs to see.

If I am having some problem then I do go to doctor but yet I still search on internet about some symptoms and other things for the illness now I wouldn't like to land on a page which was created by a blackhatter without any knowledge of anything and which is just ranking high up over there.

Google always wins. Think of it like Bernard Madoff. When things look too good, they usually are. If you start making $1000 a day all of a sudden on a relatively new site, Google starts looking. It is much better to make $100 per day and take years to grow that than to make $1000 a day for a few weeks. The major difference is that the blackhat site will be worthless once Google catches on, whereas the whitehat site builds (and maintains) legitimate traffic.

Evil has no roots. So black Seo is just like evil. On the other hand white seo is good. With the help of black seo a site can get improvement within a short period of time. But it is not permanent. Site will be ruined by black seo.

When they make quick money from blackhat and move on they spend it all then lose it all and they are back to zero.
When they do want to return back and again start earning they have no choices left. Their reputation is zero and they are of no use to anyone.
