please specify your requirements.. if you want to just watch movie or perform word processing then core 2 duo else core i3/ i5 would be better

Some expensive old model of Dell.
Buy used one with Windows 7 compatible but capable for Win 8 & 10 update (some day).
I bought used Dell XPS 1645 or 1640 (dont remember now) and I am very content with it.
You need to check the memory limit before buy.
Hard drive is not necesary, you always could change it, but you need to know RAM memory limit.
Search for some i3 or i5 with 4-6GB possible RAM upgrade.
You also need a good graphic card if you are a gamer.
Mac? I dont like Mac. Sorry, but for me all Apple product are so incomfortable that I avoid them.
