I like google for finding academic stuff, yahoo for doing a bit of shopping and msn because its updated so frequently and great for learning basic SEO. So i vote for all of them.

i use google because its very easy to use and its pop-up free.... i even have the google toolbar installed on my pc and i use gmail.... its very usefull for skool en things like that

Google. Very easy to search in Google using Opera, just hit:

g keyword

Haven't heard about Metacrawler or DogPile in ages though. The last time I heard about AskJeeves was when there was a petition to keep the Jeeves logo unchanged and I don't think I have ever heard of MyWay :p

everyone loves google, but for what. Their search isn't better, it is just different, and they have less pages than yahoo etc...

If you go to yahoo, and have a look around, they have much more stuff than google has. They have auctions, webpages (geocities), widgets, flicr, and much more stuff. They have more stuff than you can imagine! Their APIs are better, more indepth, and friendlier to use, and they have a much nicer page. Google suck compared with Yahoo. Only google's gmail is better, in my opinion, and thats only because I can't be bothered to try Yahoo, and because there is so much hype surrounding Gmail that it is "cool" to have one (@yahoo.com email adresses are a little old fashioned tho). Hey, have a look at Yahoo messenger compared with Gtalk (which has a much more manufactured and cheaper name).

yes, I agree with this... but then again, yahoo and MSN are much more packed with stuff. Google just looks really quite bare compared with MSN and Yahoo.
