Hello, thank goodness for this forum to ask silly questions and get good answers...

Which is the best place to offer domains for sale, in terms of ranking:

Godaddy
Moniker
Sedo
Snapnames
Pool
?
?

Can I register it at multiple places instead?

I'll prefer Forums in most cases.

Reasons
More exposure, more likelihood of an early buyer for Free.

Otherwise I'll go for SEDO if one can bare all the added costs.

i actually went ahead and signed up with Sedo...

there are a few reasons why i did so:

(1) the domain sold will be charged at 10% of the selling price

(2) this includes their escrow services (this means i can avoid the scams so widely reported as their professionals handle the matter)

(3) i can delete the listing at any time without penalty

(4) their security and verification process seems good

...but i have no means of comparing them with others....so i hope i did not make a wrong decision

(sometimes as a newbie there is a price to pay for learning curve....i learnt to pay for quality in a registrar and also for selling domains as it will avoid problems later on - the reason is that i am not technically inclined and whilst it takes another person a few minutes to solve a problem, it takes me days just to figure out what is wrong let alone solve it.)

commsskills, I'm with you — also a newbie, also chose Sedo over others.

But I don't hesitate much about this decision. I did a very careful research about the topic, before choosing Sedo.

I've had 50+ domains at Sedo for almost a month and at the current CTR, Sedo parking will nicely cover the registration fees, which, in my opinion, is a good start.

I like Sedo personally. On the forums you are selling to a bunch of resellers in general. On Sedo there is a better chance of finding an end user.

Sedo would be my say because of security and the processing. Forums are good but there are just too many people that end up being scammers even with good rep on forums and can look legit but scam you later on. I would definitely say sedo. Escrow for big transactions and stay away from paypal!

Sedo, there just no reason to not to list your names there. Just list em all make offer
