Which is better XXMap and XXMaps ?

Hi!

I am always confused by this: a domain is "XXXXMap.XXX" , another one is "XXXXMaps.XXX" . so which name is better ?

I know "games" might be better than "game" for a domain name, but not sure "map" domain.

Tony it depends in what context you are planning on using it?

Example GPS Map v GPS Maps
The overture and word tracker are for "GPS maps" are 226 and 292 compared to 74 and 66 for "GPS map" Therefore "GPS maps" is more a more suitable term for a domain as more people have searched it. This is also reflected by advertisers with there being 18 more ads for the more popular term.

The opposite is true where you check the term "world map" v "world maps" which shows a landslide towards the singular term with Overture @ 13961
Wordtracker @ 18037 compared to Overture @ 3117 and
Wordtracker @4027 for the plural.
