Which is better- NLN.com or LLN.com or NLL.com or LNL.com?

well i was wondering which is more better- a NLL.com or LnL.com or LLN.com or NLN.com?

well, i know it depends upon the type of character and their sequence but i need general estimation...

Also, what should be the minimum price for these domains-NLL.com or LnL.com or LLN.com or NLN.com? (consider that the domain have useless worst character)

historically LLN pattern names have always been worth a bit more than others. I would say that the price guide shows the correct ratio between different types.

look at that 48k sale other day for LV1.com

you never know. albeit that is incredibly rare to get that sort of money. a freak sale if you will

Here are the lowest reported sales by segment lately (prices are all taken from auctioned domains -- these aren't "private sale flukes").

NLL.com -- 0QN.com @ $111 (Sedo auction, March 2009) [ minimum with any number other than zero seems to be around $130)
LNL.com -- E1Q.com @ $110 (Sedo auction, March 2009)
LLN.com -- GL6.com @ $167 (Sedo auction, February 2009) [not exactly of minimum wholesale quality, probably more around $150 as a minimum]
NLN.com -- 2J7.com @ $104 (Sedo auction, March 2009)

As you and Pred said, what the domain ends up being worth in the end really isn't determined by what the minimums are, but these should serve as pretty good minimums if you plan on buying on the lower end or if you want to make sure you don't lose money on anything you purchase (take off another 10% from these prices if you plan on reselling them on Sedo to ensure you dn't lose money).

As can be noticed, actual minimums are quite a bit below what is quoted on 3character.com

Here's something to think about: there are way more LLL.coms than LLNs, LNLs, NLLs, LNNs, or NLNs, taking each of those individually (which I think they should be, as they're really different animals). The reason for the continuing value of LLLs over those is pretty clear, I suppose, in regard to general usability by end users, but I think there are plenty of specific examples from those categories above that would be much more useful than some of the random LLLs, and should be valued accordingly.
