Which is better - Liquidating or expired/closeout actions?

As far as I can tell Closeouts are just GoDaddy's version of expired domains. If this is true and closeouts and expired domains are basically the same thing, then how do they compare to liquidated domain actions - are you more or less likely to find valuable names and/or buyers?
