Which domain would you develop and why?

Please help me out. I want to develop a video clip sharing site and I can't make up my mind as to which domain to develop. Please cast your vote in the poll and explain your selection in the thread.

I personally like ViralVideo.org the best, as it is a term most people know, and it doesn't have any abreviations in it. With VidClip, you are going to have people typing in VideoClip, and all other sorts of things. I don't think people will remember snipie.com either, as its not a real word, and could also be spelt different ways (snipy, etc.) Best of luck!

Another vote for viralvideo.org, most suitable for a video clip sharing site out of the three options. With VidClip as mentioned, people might end up typing videoclip and snipie.com doesn't sound relevant enough to the theme of the site.

Thanks for your input so far. I like Viral Video also. Based on the type-in traffic, so does the rest of the world too. Snipie is just soooo cool sounding and brandable and a .com.

My vote is for VidClip.TV aswell

Being that you have covered your bases , plus IPTV will have its time really soon and with a sites like youtube exploding from 12k members to 25 million in a matter of 9 months shows the sky is the limit when it comes to videos on the net if you develope a nice site.

I said viralvideo.org because to me it "rolls off the tounge" easier. I think vidclips.tv is a very close second.

The first things I thought of when I saw Snipie.com was negative. 1. I thought it looked a lot like sniping or sniper. with only one "p", the "i" technically should be the long sound rhyming with snipe. 2. A person who is short tempered is sometimes called snippie.

Snipie - Sounds like sniper. What's a sniper got to do with video clips.

viralvideo - Personally, I think viral is an overated word. A virus is a very negative thing.

Vidclips - the .tv extension is very relevant to Video Clips and I think that it is the easiest to remember.

Then again, I've never heard the term "Viral Video" before and it may be a lot more common with the market you are aiming at.

To give y'all some insight into why I thought Snipie.com was both brandable and appropriate. First, its short, approachable, and 2 syllables. Second and more importantly, it's also appropriate since it's a play on the word snippet.

voted viralvideo.org , imo unless you go BIG and well advertised, snipie is less memorable to ppl than viralvideo.org (which has also great and strong keywords for SE)

I voted snipie.com. Viralvideo.org is good but, well, it's a .org. It's a relatively weak extension (compared to .com) and most visitors are more likely to type viralvideo.com. Although video sites are becoming a smash hit, youtube is attracting the majority of the visitors so it will be hard to compete.

Snipie.com could be developed into anything, so good luck!
