Hi fellow domainers. Just decided to get my domain name business to the next level. I am intending to create my own marketplace and also send more sale emails.

Can you please let me know which one of the following domain names you consider ideal for starting a marketplace and also creating an email that will be used to send sales emails? Also, can you suggest me an @[domainName.] for prospecting?
for prospecting?

I appreciate if we can have an open discussion about this, to see other opinions and thank you for your vote!']

I personally like dnhub.com. I guess anyone you would be marketing to already should know what DN stands for. DN is a very good abbreviations and out of the 6 names listed I think you should go with DNhub. Its short and simple.

DN is a strong abbreviation with tech savvy or seasoned domainers/webmasters but the average person on the street as no idea what this means.

I not surprised by the votes for DNhub as most of the people voting should be well experienced with domain terminology and the rest of the list is quite poorly, it's .com and short so it gets my vote too.

Do you think that it is a big downside when contacting prospects if they are not familiar with?

I completely agree with doubleU
DNHub is the best of the lot, but a lot of people outside the industry may not know what it means.
Of course you could always clarify by using a tagline
I dont think its a big deal if you are initiating the contact with the prospect though

You put too much focus on it. Just put under the logo the text "Domain Name Hub". Have it on your website, use in your email as well and you'll educate them too.

It is short and sweet. It is meaningful. That is all you need.

but, if "TheTotallyWickedBestDomainNamesInTheWorld.com" aka TTWBDNITW.com is available "which i doubt" I'd go with it. ;)

I don't think its a big downside, with the right marketing it will work.

DNhub could also be a good name for a domainers forum.
