Hello

One of my good friends email me last night. He said he is trying to sell his portfolio of 6 domain names, which contains one word ccTLDs, for $200. He asked me if there is any other websites to sell one word ccTLDs other than namepros.

Does anyone know any places to sell one word ccTLDs at?

Thanks

For something like that you may be best listing all 6 in one auction at Flippa. List it with a BIN at $200 and someone may snatch them up. Hopefully the extension is easily transferable. The more expensive route would be to use the new Sedo Domain Auction, but you would have to do them at 59Euro each.

If you have a little bit more time on your hands you could park them with some of the marketplaces which allow ccTLDs... Sedo and DomainNameSales allow most (if not, all) extensions.

Thanks you four advice. On Flippa, is there a listing fee, a success fee or both?

If there is a listing fee, I would be tacking a risk because I heard that many domain names do not reach the reserve. Is this true?

They will charge a $9 fee to list, and a success fee if it sells (10% I think). Take that into consideration when pricing..Maybe list the auction as a $250 Reserve and a $250 BIN..then, if it sells you definitely get what you were going for, a little more actually. That price is less than $50/domain so if they are decent words and decent ccTLD extensions it's very possible they could sell. Currently Flippa is still offering A Free Listing if you give 15+ domain appraisals within 1 week. It may be a week and a half before those show up in your account, but it would get you the listing at no cost :)

No risk, no reward!

No problem. A bit of advice, once you start your auction be sure to add it into your signature here at namepros. Also think about tweeting it (Don't forget to use #hashtags) and maybe buying some advertising for it. You can get allot of extra visibility by spreading the word.
