Make no mistake i am not asking about domains that have been done through their redemption period and are about to release, i am asking about domains that are just recently not renewed by the owner or which have still 2 months for deletion. I know there is godaddy and some other expired domains list but is there any other website where we can check all domains that have expired recently (in last 2-3days) and towards their redemption or better any daily list of domains that are about to be dropped/not renewed?

The registry Zone files would be your best bet...

I'm assuming you want it for .COM, .NET etc. For these, you can go here: https://www.verisign.com/en_US/channel-resources/domain-registry-products/zone-file/index.xhtml

Apply for the zone file access and then use it to download the zone files themselves. You'll further need a script to parse them to get the data you want (bear in mind that each zone file is a few GB in size)

There are similar programs for several other TLDs (ccTLDs and also some gTLDs). You'll have to find out how to obtain access to those.

Appreciate. Thanks for the info.

Try expireddomains .net and justdropped .com.

This peaked my curiosity. I applied, downloaded the form, and the only question I have a problem answering is: "INTENDED USE- Please describe how you intend to use the zone file data should access be approved"

Is there such thing as being too honest? Is "Domaining" an acceptable answer? I don't want to get rejected. I'm familiar with ExpiredDomains and JustDropped (EXCELLENT Programs) but I've never heard of this before. What's better place to get dropped .com's than from the source of all things .com correct?;)

@Xabial - this might help and explains the process. My guess is maybe a bit more than a one word answer, like you intend to use it for personal use to evaluate and purchase domain names

The article is a bit dated, looking at the current application appears you can simply email instead of fax.

Any type of research work is fine. I believe they only say no if you are planning on using the list for marketing purposes or anything else that could be considered annoying/damaging.

Thanks @anantj for the warning about those files being HUGE. Until now didn't think to parse the raw files, even just the full five day dropping list and import into spreadsheet is large and slow. There's a few zone parsing scripts out there. For current drops I just use expireddomains to sort first to a manageable size.
