don't forget that he can use a trustee . Afaik, 101domain.com support a trustee service for said zone

That is a tough question to answer. I believe you need to find someone that already owns a .bh domain so he can express first-hand experience.

A registrar might be ok with the more common extensions but you might experience issues on more exotic ones like the .bh.

From the registrars I saw that support that extension only Gandi.net stand out as being most trustworthy but -again- no experience with them with 'difficult' situations.

You can search NP for 101Domain reviews. Like @Hypersot , not much help on the registrars that offer .BH - I have a barely used account at Regtons, they have some issues, yet have responded promptly to tickets. Gandi is OK, except the .BH price is $500 and requires a corporate contract as well, which is $65 - https://v4.gandi.net/corporate/buy

Personally prefer to deal with a local registrar for unusual ccTLDs if possible, in this case it looks like the Telecom company administers and offers domain names, probably contact support and see what their direct prices are. Smallest monthly was 10 Bahraini Dinar equals 26.51 US Dollar which would be around $325 a year

Looks like it might be a requirement to have hosting with the TelCo, no idea if that is part of the price at 101domain, my guess would be No

If all that is true if you can just get a domain included with the small hosting for $325 a year that looks to be least expensive

Latest update about .BH Domains:
The .BH ccTLD went through an over-haul in late 2021 and as of 3rd May 2022, it has entered the GA (General Availability) stage. Any person or business from any country can register a .BH domain name without any documents/requirements, as long as they meet the standard terms of conditions of the registry. The registration is instant & online.
