I do wonder what needs to occur that allows us to almost guarantee that DC will catch any top domain that drops...

Are there a lot of people that invest in DC that gives them the resources required to cash in on all of the top dropping names?

I don't follow the markets. I only discovered this when I did a search in Google News today for AQS

AAF.com sold in early January at DropCatch.com for $80,150, until it turned out the buyer didn't have the money. It was subsequently re-listed and sold again for $45,050.

I'm not going to suggest an amount in the comments of the post, but I recon the eventual price will be under $50k.
