.tv Where do you get your dot TV news/analysis?

Where do you go (outside forums) for news and analysis on the current state of the TV extension? I can find almost nothing that is current - most reports, etc I've found via google are a year or more old. I guess that fact alone is testament to the state of things... But I'd like to get a better sense of the long-term prospects for the extension and need some solid up-to-date info. A few leads would be appreciated...

Interesting and thought provoking post......

In my view, Dot TV is like the Michael Jackson insomniac of domain names, a shining star that has been mismanaged and abused by his handlers. At this point, all we can do is monitor the pulse and make sure the heart is still beating. I go to Justin.tv and uStream.tv once a week and make sure the domains still resolve to a .TV extension.

As long as these two sites continue to use the extension there is a heartbeat. IMO.

But can it be (getting back to the original question) that .tv domainers don't read anything but each other's posts? I keep seeing the point made that .tv will be dead for at least a few more years. And that mediocre names dropped now will still be available in a year or two (in case you decide you want them back). What info are people basing this on? What are your sources?

Yes I saw that thread. Thanks. I guess what I'm really looking for is some insight into Verisign's plans for the extension. People seem to think they have just bumbled the whole thing - and perhaps they have - but I wonder if they don't just have a more long-term agenda.

Good for analysis is one that MrRhee brought to the table a few months ago - and we are forever in his debt.

It really works and suggests that, for my purposes, .TV is actually only marginally down on six months ago
