Where can you register 1 caracter domains

Hi all

This is a genuine question. I see a guy selling a.doctor in top domains but when I tried to buy single character domains even with godaddy and others - I could not. It said either it was available but could not be registered, or that you must have more than 1 character.

I would be very interested in finding out where you can register single character domains.

What extensions are you looking at? Or you just mean in general?

Most are only sold by the extension registry or still in reserve status. Go direct
There have been announcements of some releases.
I found some on the open market starting at 5k+

Forgot to include renewals start at 139+ into the thousands per year depending on the domain

With 1000+ extensions available, 1/ 2 character names are not special anymore..JMO. Also they have high renewal fees.
