Where can I check the previous whois info of a domain?

I registered a domain name at yahoo last year and changed the whois email address.now I can't manange the domain name because I forgot the email address I used,I tried to contact yahoo but all in vain.Please any idea?

You can search for WHOIS History at domaintools.com
You would need to sign up with them and the minimum membership fee that allows you to use this feature is $15.00 USD

But there are also members on board who could check this out for you for a smaller fee or for free?

Also, reading your post again, if you want to manage your domain all you need to know is your current email address used for the domain.
If you don't know this then you can do a simple WHOIS search and look it up in the registrant details.

you can press on the 'compare archive data' or simply archive tab after the whois information of the domain you want is loaded. It is a totally free service from whois.ws

Thanks.That is the current email address which was changed in 2006.I am looking for the yahoo email address which was used before changing to [email protected] .I registered the domain to be given as a gift.after it was registered the whois was changed.but I still pay for renewals.

I do not have any earlier information. I believe yahoo use Melbourne IT as registrar. I assume you need the E-mail address to log into a yahoo account linked to the domain ?

This does bring up a good point though. You should never use the email of the same domain, because if it expires and is deactivated, you won't get expired notices. Always use a different email from the domain itself.
