I have around $ 350 in my account with Registerfly in the moment. I asked them to return and they said that it is not possible in the moment. I asked something more, and they did not reply till now.

There may be some other members on NP, who have lost their money with this company. What is the way out now ?

Also, i do not want to register domains with them as they raised the price to $9.99 per domain, which is very high.

I made a payment of $ 400 in my registerfly account in December, 2006 by Paypal, so can't even use their system to get the money back.

Please help

Kiss it goodbye. I have money in my RF account as well. I have been unable to register any domains or receive a refund either.

When will Registerfly return the money in account?

My guess, only when a judge makes them. BUT...only if:

They don't go bankrupt first,
The funds aren't all claimed by some other party to a suit first,
The owners don't skip the country with it.
There is any money available to get.

I would think IF they are still in business, and IF they can provide a service, you best bet would be to let them provide you with domains or something to spend it. I think the chance of an actual refund is very remote.

Hi,

You can try this:
1.login to, or create moneybookers account.
2.Use "request money" menu
Ask your $350 from [email protected](this email displays when i go to add funds with moneybookers now), and explain in reason field why you asking for refund (e.g. you can't use funds in your account).

I don't know if this work, but there is nothing to loose, except 5-10 minutes of your time.

Good luck.

Can you do a chargeback?

You can at least try.
This is just possible workaround.
They have no legal obligation to pay you back this way, but you will know their reaction, and IMO such payment request, will be kind of official money back request by you, in case of law suit.
Before you do request for your money back, (again IMO) you are considered as satisfied customer before the law.

After such request:

1.They can return the money to you, because they can't provide required services.
2.They can contact you and provide you with services, or try to compensate you another way.
3.They can ignore you, or cancel your request and take a risk to have one more law suits against their company.
If there are many customers in your situation, group law suit (i am not shure for the right term) may be arranged.

p.s.
And of course, you must try first to contact with their support, but i gues all of you already have done this.

Good luck.

I would attempt a Chargeback in this case if you paid via Credit card. Credit Card holders can opt for a chargeback often times for a while. Check with your provider and do what you can to file it. My guess is, if the CC company allows you to do it, theyll force the money back into the account.

Search box in upper right of this page.
The Registerfly fiasco was a long running soap opera to see just how far a person could push the domain system. The answer is very far indeed.

Do not even consider sending them money. Ever, under any circumstances.

You have up to 60 days to dispute a charge for both Mastercard and Visa, it used to be 90 days....Too late.

can not chargeback using Paypal as the money was paid long time back.
